* Age: 40 (deceased)
* Rank: Kazekage
* Seiyu: Masahiko Tanaka
* Voice Actor: Crispin Freeman

The Fourth Kazekage is the father of the Sand Siblings. By his order, the One-Tailed Shukaku was sealed within his youngest child, Gaara, so that he could become the village's ultimate weapon. As Gaara grew and his abilities began to manifest themselves, the Fourth realized that this had been a poor choice and started to view Gaara as a failed experiment who was a threat to the inhabitants of Sunagakure. As such, he began sending assassins to kill Gaara, though none of his attempts were successful. In later years he joins Orochimaru in a planned invasion of Konoha where he intends to use Gaara to attack the village from within. He is betrayed and killed by Orochimaru before the invasion takes place, who then assumes his identity so that he can better control Sunagakure.
